What’s your name and where are you from?
My name is Danny but I tend to go by Danny O amongst fellow coffee wizards. Born in London but far from being English, I was Glasgow raised.
What do you do at Dear Green?
Barista training, SCA training, Quality Control and production coffee roasting
How do you make coffee at home?
Got a casual La Marzocco Linea Mini in the flat! Along with V60, Chemex, Aeropress, Kalita and French Press!
What’s your favourite thing about speciality coffee?
The coffee!
Which SCA training courses have you done?
Foundation/Intermediate/Professional Barista Skills and Foundation Sensory Skills. I'm also an Authorised SCA Trainer (AST).
What do you do in your spare time?
Play music (bass guitar), play some football and make coffee!
What’s your favourite thing about working at Dear Green?
Brilliant working environment, I'm always learning more about coffee.
