What’s your name and where are you from?
I'm Erin, originally from Cupar in Fife but I now live in the east end of Glasgow.
What do you do at Dear Green?
I’m a roastery assistant - I answer enquiries, pack coffee, make sure we have enough coffee roasted, do some problem solving as well as provide light entertainment with bad jokes.
How do you make coffee at home?
V60 and cold brew.
What’s your favourite thing about speciality coffee?
I love that it's so versatile, each origin can taste completely different depending on how you brew it.
Which SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) training courses have you done?
Sensory and Barista Foundation.
What do you do on the weekend?
Hillwalking followed by drinking fancy craft beer.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Dear Green?
No two days are the same and there's excellent coffee. Plus it’s a fun place to work and we laugh all the time.
