Colombia - AMACA Women Producers
cane juice - tropical fruits - chocolate
A.M.A.C.A (Assocation de Mujeres Productoras Agropecuarias del Cauca) is the latest partnership in the Women Coffee Producer program. Located in the Colombian municipality of El Tambo, Cauca, the collective began small but is now made up of 140 female coffee producers.
The 140 active members span three different villages across the El Tambo municipality to make up AMACA. The average farm size is 1 hectare (5,000 trees) per member, some members have 3+ hectares and many members have less than one.
Their mantra is simple: to improve the quality of life for their members and their members’ families. Dear Green is proud to share this incredible single origin, and to support the aspirations of this ever growing collective.
