It won't surprise you to learn that we supply many amazing coffee shops across the Scottish islands, and the Isle of Skye is one of those places. Earlier this week we hopped in the Dear Green mobile and made our way through the Scottish Highlands, up to Fort William and then onwards to Skye, to visit some of the amazing places serving our coffee.
After what is probably the most scenic road trip in Scotland we arrived at our first stop, The Wildcat in Fort William. A fully vegan cafe, focused on environmental impact and sustainability (something we can definitely get on board with), The Wildcat serve our Goosedubbs Blend on espresso alongside batch brewed filter too. We worked with the team on a full training session, honing their espresso making skills and making sure they were ready for the busy summer season ahead. We recommended adding The Wildcat to your must visit cafe list.
Later that night we made the two and half hour journey to Portree, ready for our adventures the next day. Up bright an early, we made our way to Gasta in Portree. Situated within the Isle of Skye Candle Co, Gasta is a bright an open space, serving up our delicious specialty coffee alongside an awesome menu, including incredible pizza. We then headed to The Dunvegan, where we enjoyed an espresso with quite possibly the best view on the whole island.
Later that evening we arrived back at Gasta to carry out a full training session with the team. We polished up their espresso and milk texturing skills ready for peak tourist season. It's safe to say that our coffee is in very safe hands on the Isle of Skye.
