At Dear Green we roast and post your coffee order as soon as we possibly can to get it to you in its freshest, most wonderful state. We ship all other orders same day if we have it in stock and if the order is placed before 10:30 am.

SHIPPING UPDATE - United States August 2025

Due to recent changes in U.S tariff rules, we have temporarily suspended all shipping to the United States. We are reviewing the situation and hope to resume service in the future.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Tell me about shipping in the UK

Orders placed before 10.30am Monday to Friday are shipped that afternoon. We ship via Royal Mail and our standard shipping service is Royal Mail 48 Tracked, so please allow up to 7 working days for delivery of your order. (This may be longer during any national holiday periods and restrictions out with our control i.e Covid-19, Brexit, postal strikes.)

We also offer free Royal Mail 48 Tracked shipping when you spend over £30 within the UK! This is up to a maximum order weight of 30kg. Orders over this weight will be sent via courier.

We also have a click + collect option, if you're lucky enough to live close to the roastery in Glasgow or are passing through. Orders will be available to collect from us the following business day after midday. You can also buy directly from us at our roastery (items for sale will depend on what we have roasted that day and what kit we have in stock).

Tell me about shipping to the rest of the world (incl. Europe)

We dispatch orders around the world via Royal Mail or DPD. Please allow up to 25 working days for delivery of your order. Delivery time will depend on destination, tracking is available.

For worldwide customers please be aware that customs are not covered and you might be charged a fee before you can receive your order.


We reserve the right to alter postage fees in accordance with individual destinations. We will always inform the customer of any discrepancies from the original order and await your confirmation to proceed before dispatch. Your understanding is always appreciated. We cannot take responsibility for any of the items once in transit. 

For EU customers:

  • VAT and duty Inclusive Pricing: For orders under 150€ (excluding shipping and taxes), all VAT and customs duties are included in the price at checkout. No additional charges on delivery.
  • Quick Customs Clearance: Orders under 150€ benefit from expedited customs processing, resulting in faster delivery times..
  • Separate Shipping Fees: Shipping fees are calculated separately and are not included in the 150€ limit. Please review shipping costs at checkout. 

If there's an issue with your order

If there’s a problem with your order, please email hello@deargreencoffee.comwith your order number and details of the issue.

Can I return coffee?
No, coffee is a perishable product and cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Can I return non-coffee items?
Yes. You can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused and in resaleable condition.

How do I return an item?
We offer Royal Mail Tracked 48 returns for £3 on change-of-mind returns. This fee is deducted from your refund.

What if my item is faulty or damaged?
We’ll cover the return cost and provide a free Royal Mail Tracked 48 return label.

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processedwithin 14 days of receiving your return (or proof of return).

Who pays return postage?

  • Change-of-mind returns: £3 return fee

  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: free return

Gift vouchers and classes

Gift vouchers are issued with 12 month validity. Class payment is required in advance of any class. Cancellation is only permitted 7 days prior to the commencement of the class in order to give us enough time to resell the place. Please note that no refund will be issued for non-attendance. Dear Green Rewards

What is Dear Green Rewards? This is our new rewards program that you can read more about and join on our Rewards page. You earn points by shopping online Dear Green. For every £1 you spend, you'll receive 1 point in your account.

What do I do with my Rewards Points? Once you've accrued points, you can redeem them for a discount voucher to be used on your next order. For 100 points, you'll get a £1 discount. So the more you spend, the more you save!

How do I check my balance? On the Rewards page, make sure you're logged in. Click "Discover the loyalty program" which will open a pop up that shows how many points you have. This is also where you can redeem your points!
