At Dear Green we roast and post your coffee order as soon as we possibly can to get it to you in its freshest, most wonderful state. All other shop items are dispatched immediately upon receipt of order.

Where does Dear Green Ship?

We ship all over the big wide world!

Tell me about shipping in the UK

Orders placed before 10.30am Monday to Friday are shipped that afternoon. We ship via Royal Mail and our standard shipping service is 2nd class post, so please allow up to 7 working days for delivery of your order. (This may be longer during any national holiday periods and restrictions out with our control i.e Covid-19, Brexit, postal strikes.)

We also offer free 2nd class shipping when you spend over £30 within the UK! This is up to a maximum order weight of 900g. Orders over this weight will be charged standard Royal Mail postage rates. 

We also have a click + collect option, if you're lucky enough to live close to the roastery in Glasgow or are passing through. Orders will be available to collect from us the following business day after midday. You can also buy directly from us at our roastery (items for sale will depend on what we have roasted that day and what kit we have in stock).

Tell me about shipping to the rest of the world (including Europe)

We dispatch orders around the world via Royal Mail or DPD. Please allow up to 25 working days for delivery of your order. Delivery time will depend on destination, tracking is available.

VAT is always included in our price for items purchased from EU customers.

We reserve the right to alter postage fees in accordance with individual destinations. We will always inform the customer of any discrepancies from the original order and await your confirmation to proceed before dispatch. Your understanding is always appreciated. We cannot take responsibility for any of the items once in transit. All items over £100 will be sent recorded delivery in the UK and tracked worldwide. Please request tracking information from us if you have not already received it.

If you have a question about your order please use the contact form on our website or email us. Allow up to 48 hours for a response, we are in the roastery Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm. Please do not contact us via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram—email is much easier to keep track of and respond to.

If you have received an item that is damaged, defective or has been received in error please email hello@deargreencoffee.com with details of the problem and whether you would like a refund or replacement. We cannot accept responsibility for flavour or extraction variables of pre-ground coffee... this is something that only the coffee geeks will understand! We'd rather everyone had a grinder to grind freshly and experience our coffee in its finest state!

We retain proof of postage for all items sent and cannot be held responsible for items sent to addresses provided in error. Please ensure all details are accurate at the time of ordering. In line with distance selling regulations we only refund the cost of returning the items if received in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. Please ensure you keep proof of postage. A refund will be initiated on receipt of your returned items if required.

Gift vouchers and classes*

Gift vouchers are issued with 6 month validity. Class payment is required in advance of any class. Cancellation is only permitted 7 days prior to the commencement of the class in order to give us enough time to resell the place. Please note that no refund will be issued for non-attendance.
