Celebrating the best of Scotland’s exceptional food and drink scene, the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards shine a light on Scotland's incredible food and drink businesses.
For over two decades, the Awards have brought together the finest Scottish producers with key decision-makers and influencers across the industry. Creating an opportunity to celebrate our industry’s fantastic achievements whilst supporting the next wave of innovation and creativity.
Hosted by Matt Tebbutt of Saturday Kitchen and welcoming over 500 guests to Glasgow's Crowne Plaza, the Awards allowed us to connect with Scotland's vibrant food and drink community.We are delighted that our work in sustainability was recognised at the 25th annual gala event.
The Award
The Sustainable Business of the Year award recognises a company that places sustainability at its core. To win, Dear Green had to demonstrate how we approach sustainability throughout our business practices and values. We provided examples that are measurable and demonstrate change.
Scotland has already set world-leading targets for emissions reduction; we are proud that this award showcases us as a leader and innovator, rising to a generational challenge.
Why This Award Means So Much to Us
When we started Dear Green in 2011, our mission was simple: to source, roast and share exceptional coffee, with only positive environmental and social impact.
Winning the Sustainable Business of the Year award validates that mission, but more importantly, it highlights the real impact we’ve made together as a community from one end of our supply chain to the other. From the coffee producers and import partners we work with to our valued wholesale partners and home brewing customers.
Our community's support of our coffee, our work, and our passion allows us to push boundaries and to continue to be better and to have a bigger impact.
