World Of Coffee - Geneva

World of Coffee this year took us to Geneva, Switzerland!

Hosted by the SCA, World of Coffee is Europe’s largest specialty coffee trade show and has been coined by exhibitors as “the number 1 event in Europe!". The three day event was bustling and lively as ever, packed with 11,000+ visitors and a whopping 350+ exhibitors.

So what goes on at World of Coffee? From their own website, WoC describes itself as “more than just a trade show - it’s a festival of innovation and learning with opportunities for exploration, interaction and more” and it had an array of goings on such as World Coffee Championships, lectures and workshops, cuppings and tastings, a roasters village and new product and design awards!

Whether you go to network and feel that sense of community, to learn, to discover new innovations, to show off your brand, to be part of the competitions - it’s definitely one not to be missed.

We are so grateful to have been invited along to join some of our industry pals:

Ceado

Lisa was welcomed by Tino, Cossimo, and the team at Ceado, brewing Bukonzo Dream natural from Uganda on the Hoop - arevolutionary radial infusion coffee brewer! We had a chance to learn more about the range of grinding equipment by Ceado, from the EC6, a perfect multi-purpose grinder with zero retention, to the on-demand espresso range, including the E37Z, which we have in our roastery showroom!

Cofinet

By the afternoon, Anna had also flown in to join in on the fun! Alongside friends and importing partners, Cofinet, we took the opportunity to showcase (get it?) the second coffee in our brand new Showcase range. The delicately delicious washed Gesha was produced by Theilor Cruz on his farm Finca Tabaconas, in San Ignacio, Peru and brought to us through Cofinet. This was the perfect place to celebrate the launch of Showcase #02 and share brews of this standout coffee.

Omwani

More importer pals who we have worked with for a good few years running, Omwani! We had a great time brewing one of our long-term faves, Bukonzo Dream, with the team. This coffee was a particularly special one for us to bring along, as we have partnered with Omwani and Agri Evolve, the producers of Bukonzo Dream, to develop a seedling project in Uganda, which allows us to support the development of a coffee nursery and donate seedlings to a network of over 20000 coffee producers.

Sage / Beanz

For our final slot of the show, we joined the Sage team to sling some spros of our house blend, Goosedubbs! We’re honoured to be a featured roaster on Sage’s coveted specialty coffee subscription, Beanz, in amongst a great line up of UK based roasters (and not to mention a reseller of Sage products!) so it was the perfect end to the show to spend some time with the team and learn about their impressive new espresso machines.

We embraced this opportunity to not only brew coffee but to connect with our international network of roasters, importers, and producers. A special mention to Cafe Imports, Algrano, CATA, and the Coffee Knowledge Hub for their hospitality and to Roast Magazine, Coffee Mind, RGE, Skylark, Falcon, DR Wakefield, APRYSA, Barista Magazine, Change Please, Special Guests, Lucid, Mio Fazenda and so many others for the great catch-ups!

Our experience was also enhanced by witnessing the crowning of the 2025 Coffee in Good Spirits Champion and World Latte Art Champions! Huge thanks to the SCA for putting on another incredible event! Connections were strengthened and new ones were made!

We had an absolute blast and are still buzzing and energised from being so immersed in all things coffee!
