If flat bottom pour overs are your go-to, Kalita Wave 185 Filter Papers are an everyday essential. Trusted by baristas and home brewers worldwide, they make dialling in simple. Whether paired with the Kode FB45, an Origami, or your favourite flat-bottom brewer, they let the vibrant, sweet flavours of your coffee shine through without any papery taste getting in the way.
Why We Love Them
-
Even Extraction: The 20 fluted waves lift the paper off the brewer walls, encouraging uniform flow through the coffee bed for sweet, balanced cups.
-
Zero Papery Taste: Made from high-grade, oxygen-bleached pulp so there’s no cardboard flavour muddling your morning brew.
-
Forgiving & Repeatable: The flat-bottom profile keeps extraction consistent and channels at bay, even before your first caffeine hit.
-
Kind to the Planet: Crafted in Japan from FSC-certified pulp and 100% compostable. Pop both paper and spent grounds straight into your food waste caddy.
-
The Perfect Match: Sized for 185 brewers, fitting Kalita Wave drippers, the Kode FB45, and Origami brewers with a flat-bottom insert.
