Shipping & Delivery

SHIPPING UPDATE - United States

Due to changes in U.S tariff rules, we have temporarily suspended all shipping to the United States. The situation is under regular review.

Orders placed before 10:30 am Monday to Friday are shipped that afternoon via Royal Mail 48 Tracked (please allow up to 7 working days for delivery).

We offer free Royal Mail 48 Tracked shipping within the UK when you spend over £30!

Yes! We have a Click + Collect option if you live close to our Glasgow roastery or are passing through. Orders are available to collect the following business day after midday (we will email you when it's ready). You can also buy directly from us at the roastery, though items depend on what we have roasted that day.

We dispatch international orders via Royal Mail. Please allow up to 25 working days for delivery depending on the destination; tracking is available.

SHIPPING UPDATE - EU

As the UK is no longer part of the EU single market, your order may be subject to local import rules, depending on the destination country.

VAT and duty-inclusive pricing: For orders under 150€ (excluding shipping and taxes), all VAT and customs duties are included in the price at checkout. No additional charges on delivery.

Quick Customs Clearance: Orders under 150€ benefit from expedited customs processing, resulting in faster delivery times. Separate Shipping Fees: Shipping fees are calculated separately and are not included in the 150€ limit. Please review shipping costs at checkout.

Returns & Refunds

No. Coffee is a perishable product and cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Yes. You can cancel your order and return non-perishable retail items within 14 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused and in a resaleable condition.

  • Change-of-mind returns: We offer Royal Mail Tracked 48 returns for a £4 fee, which is deducted from your final refund. To request a label, email hello@deargreencoffee.com.
  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: We will fully cover the return cost and provide a free Royal Mail Tracked 48 return label.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving your return (or proof of return). For full details, please read over our comprehensive Return Policy.

Coffee & Brewing Questions

We are a Glasgow-based specialty coffee roaster, in Scotland in the United Kingdom. We roast, train, brew, and share our coffee from our roastery in the heart of Glasgow at 101 Brook Street.

Yes! We can grind your coffee according to your exact specifications depending on your favourite brew method (Cafetiere, Filter, Aeropress, Stovetop, Espresso, etc.).

Yes! We put the same immense effort into sourcing our decaf as we do any of our single-origin coffees. Our current decaf is sourced from the Huila region of Colombia and undergoes a natural Ethyl Acetate (E.A.) decaffeination process after being quality-graded by cupping.

Yes. Dear Green has been certified by the Organic Food Federation since 2018 and undergoes annual audits. Any organic coffee purchased from us is guaranteed to be farmed, processed, shipped, roasted, and delivered under strict organic guidelines.

While the industry is moving toward vacuum storage containers to prolong coffee life by 1-2 weeks, storing it in the original bag is perfectly fine. Just ensure you reseal the bag tightly to minimize the airspace inside, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Once you have accrued points, you can redeem them for a discount voucher to use on your next order. For example, 100 points gets you a £1 discount. The more you spend, the more you save!
