Burundi - Mutambu Hill

  • 1 min read
This fruity women's lot from Migoti Coffee was brought to us by our friends at Omwani!

Migoti operates its washing stations in the Bujumbura Rurale Province, Burundi.
Here they purchase and process cherries from local smallholders, this particular coffee coming from Mutambu Hill Women's Lot.

Migoti sees coffee "as a catalyst for growth and prosperity" and believes excellence in coffee begins at the farm level with an understanding of the value of the crop. They work closely with smallholders to improve the quality and quantity of their crops, resulting in greater rewards for their efforts.
This washed Red Bourbon is grown at elevations between 1700 -1900 masl and is sun-dried on raised African beds for 28 days. Expect delicious, vibrant and fruity flavour notes!

We were lucky enough to meet the coffee producer and owner of Migoti Coffee, Dan Brose recently at World of Coffee.
