What does a day at Dear Green look like for you?
I’ve only just started at Dear Green this week and so I’ve just been trying to learn as much as I can from everyone at the roastery.
So far i’ve been packing coffee, cupping and getting to know all of the awesome products. I’m going to be out doing some deliveries with Alex next week and I’m really looking forward to meeting the Dear Green customers.
What's your favourite way to brew? Do you have any brewing tips?
I use V60 at home a lot because it’s so easy. I like to take one with me when I travel too.
Your favourite Dear Green coffee?
So far it’s the Guatemalan but I’m also excited for the New Mexican coffee from Ensambles that I got to try at a cupping this week.
What do you like most about working for a B Corporation?
They really do put people and the planet ahead of profit.
Aside from coffee, what are your passions?
Hanging out with my family, walking my crazy dog (Woody the Whippet), keeping fit with some strength training and travelling when I can.
If you could have coffee with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I think Bob Mortimer would be good fun to have a coffee with, he’s hilarious.
What's something everyone should know about Dear Green?
They have a fantastic online subscription so you can try a variety of interesting coffees in small quantities at home.What’s your favourite thing about specialty coffee?
There’s always more to learn and interesting new coffees to try.
What tracks do you listen to for some seriously good vibes?
I enjoy most music but you can’t beat a bit of 80s or 90s pop or some funky French electro to get the party started!
