For the first time in history, the UK Latte Art Championship is coming to Glasgow!!
That's right, the Scottish heat of the nationwide competition will take place on Saturday 11th May 2024, at day one of Glasgow Coffee Festival. The competitions expansion to heats makes it the largest ever UK Latte Art Championship to date, with competitors battling it out to be crowned the best latte artist in the country. The best placed competitors after the heats will head to the semi-finals and finals in London at the end of May, with the winner going on to represent the UK at the World Latte Art Championship in Copenhagen later this year.
We've been committed to ensuring that Scotland is well represented in the UK competition scene, having previously secured the UK Barista Championship, UK Roasting Championship & UK Cup Tasters Championship and UK Brewers Cup Final, not to mention kick starting and hosting the UK Coffee Roasting Championship for three consecutive years! This is an exciting time for Scottish specialty coffee and we hope that it will mark the beginning of Scottish heats for all UK wide coffee competitions.
