Metal filters are more porous than paper filters, this means that water will run through faster. To slow down the drip-through, we suggest using a medium-fine grind size and shaking the Stainless Steel Filter to level the bed of coffee grounds. Slowly pour water in circular motions, and you can also create a vacuum by partially inserting the plunger and pulling upwards after adding liquid. This will hold everything in place until you're ready to plunge.
