New to the world of espresso coffee, or perhaps you're buying a gift? We have everything you need - from machines, to scales, brew guides & more.

What is espresso coffee
If you're grabbing a coffee from your local coffee shop, it's probably made on an espresso machine. These days, more people are getting into espresso at home too! Espresso machines use boiling water to push through ground coffee to extract a shot of espresso. This is then turned into a latte, cappuccino or flat white with the addition of milk. Not a fan of milk? Drink it short as an espresso shot or with water for a long black.

Here's the essentials you need to get started:

A machine: choose from Sage or La Marzocco.

A grinder: depending on your machine, you might have a grinder built in, or need a separate grinder. Alternatively, you can order beans ground for espresso from Dear Green.

Scales:precision scales are ideal so you can weight to the exact gram.
